In requesting a blessing, we are actively choosing to participate within the realm of what we came here to accomplish. When we function alone, we leave out the most integral factor of our existence and purpose, to receive and integrate the grandest sources of inspiration, love, healing, contentment, and goodness we can affect and participate in while we are here. To isolate ourselves from this, is to cut ourselves off from the source water that flows and gives life to all souls and situations. In requesting a blessing, we are acknowledging that we are once again willing to rejoin our soul path, and we open ourselves to the deeply quenching stream of all that is through Blessings bestowed.
